KALANTHA LET GO AS she felt the vehicle even out and crossed over to Olin Cian, moving behind him, placing her hands on his shoulders delicately, peering down at him, trying to “humanize him,” anxiously awaiting what possibly would happen next. Olin let out a big sigh of dread and sadness, not pulling away from Kalantha’s touch.

“Sorry mates, but that had to be done. The council members will be re-directed to section 8.8-they will be safe, but not... of the Network any longer. Can you tell me what you... feel, Kalantha? It’s important.”

Kalantha shifted and winced a bit, then stared out of the seascape window in front of her remotely.

“We would shout and swim about,

The coral that lies beneath the waves!
